Mechanical failure cited as reason for motorcycle stunt rider’s death

Stunt motorcycle rider, Jim Phoenix, was killed in an accident at the Texas Motor Speedway and an organizer has now stated that a motorcycle mechanical failure was the reason for the man’s death.
