$250,000 donated to victims of Hurricane Katrina

In response to the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina, Williams Kherkher's managing partner, John Eddie Williams, Jr., made two donations totaling $250,000 to the American Red Cross in September, 2005.

"My life has been filled with a great many blessings, and I wanted to extend some of that good fortune to the residents of the Gulf States who are enduring one of the greatest tragedies in our country's history," John Eddie said.

A spokesperson for the Red Cross in Houston said that the money would immediately be used to purchase food, clothing and other basic necessities for the thousands who have been displaced by the hurricane.
